About our home

Our home is in a friendly neighborhood across from the Frankfurt racetrack. It's in a house built in 1900 and has high ceilings and a great view of downtown Frankfurt. We have direct access to streetcars and buses and are situated only 10-15min. by streetcar from downtown and the trendy Sachsenhausen, which has numerous art galleries and the famous apple wine pubs. We are also in walking distance to the Main river. Our bathroom was renovated last year and a new kitchen was put in two years ago. During the summer, you will find the city full of life, with art exhibitions, theatre and opera productions, and outdoor festivals on the banks of the Main river. We also have a lovely garden, which is a 10min. bus-ride or bike-ride away.

More about us

  1. We are a couple in our 40s and have a 12-year old son, Loic. Greg (German/American) is assistant professor at the University of Tuebingen and Ellen (Dutch) is a purser for Lufthansa German Airlines. We are very responsible and will take care of your property as if it is ours. We have a 6-year-old cat, Cacao, whom we can either take with us or you can take care of (preferred). Likewise, we can take care of your pets for you.

Where is it?

We are close to numerous museums such as the Staedel, Liebighaus, Architekurmuseum, Filmmuseum, and Schirn. Within 30-45min. you will be able to reach Heidelberg, the Taunus, the Odenwald, the Loreley, and the Deutsche Weinstrasse. A bit further away are the cities of Cologne and Nuremburg, to name a few. Frankfurt is centrally-located and even the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France are only 2-3 hours away. From our balcony, you have a view of the racetrack and the golf course within.
