About our home

Farmhouse built in 1767 renovated in the last few years to a high standard. Gardens are well stocked with flowers, shrubs and a variety of fruit trees including walnuts, figs, vines, almonds, peaches and quinces. Some very unusual birds and wildlife in garden and nearby. A brook at the bottom of the garden has river trout in it. Badminton court in garden has provided hours of fun for guests. House is divided to two interconnected parts, one of which is used as a holiday flat/ B&B. All visitors (without exception) have been 100% satisfied and full of admiration for the house and the area.

Neighbourhood

Located in the picturesque town of Hann. Muenden, the property is close to a great number of historic sights and beauty spots. It could be an ideal tourning base for people interested in beautiful nature and history including Hekules in Kassel, valley of famous Bruder Grimm fairy tales etc. etc. Hann. Muenden is built on three major rivers (river cruises and water sports aplenty) and its Tudor style architecture and history are major attractions to tourists from all over the world. Local food/household store is 2 minutes walk and local supermarkets are 4 minutes drive. Local sports club (5 minutes walk) has new tennis courts etc.
