“This was our first experience with house exchange and we were extremely satisfied with the outcome. Michael was at Strasbourg train station when we arrived. Their house was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the use of their bicycles almost every day for 2 weeks. Angela had loads of pamphlets and information about things to see and visit in the region. Germany residents were kind and I would highly recommend Angela's house to anyone wishing to explore the northwestern part of Germany. Thank you so much for everything Michael and Angela.”

“This year, we (Marjan, Peter and 5 kids) had a wonderful exchange with Michael en Angela. The house in Hausach is wonderful. Big, spacious and very cosy. The ambiance was very appealing. We had a wonderful time, going to Strassbourg, Freiburg, Rodeln in Gutach, and climbing the tree-tops in Triberg. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool in Hausach several times.. Of course we went walking, biking shopping en wondered about the many cuckoo\'s clocks... During the exchange we kept in touch with Angela and Michael, all questions were promptly answered. “We spent a week holiday in Black Forest by Angela and Michael last August. Their house is really charming with lots of personality, style and unexpected. The home is in a quite road, close to cycling paths and play ground for children. At walking distance are markets and supermarkets. We meet bears and wolves in the Alternative Park in Bad Rippoldsau – Schapbachked, walked along the fall in Triberg, visited Friburg and drove along the Uhren Strasse in Black Forest. We also bought honey by local producers and had lot of fun by Rodelbahn in Gutach. We feel to recommend a holiday in Black Forest to breathe deeply the pure air of this green country. Thanks again to Angela and Michael.”

“Angela et Michael nous ont accueilli avec une très grande gentillesse dans leur maison. Nous avons eu la chance de les rencontrer quelques heures pour échanger les clés de nos maisons respectives. L’échange s’est très bien passé. La maison d’Angela est très grande et très fonctionnelle. La région est très belle et nous avons pu découvrir de nombreux villages de la Forêt noire en pratiquant aussi plusieurs randonnées. Ce fut un échange très agréable et nous avons aussi découvert une région proche de la France que ne nous connaissions pas. “We spent two weeks in Aug.2019 in Angela's house with my children and grandchild - seven in total. It is a very nice, convenient and clean house with a wonderful garden in the Black Forest, in a wonderful surrounding , mountains and small rivers around. The house is big with three stories and very comfortable. The location was central to visit Freiburg, Strassburg (France) and Basel (Swiss). The hosts are very friendly and we have been in very good relations during and after the exchange. We recommend it very much . Anna and Eliahu”

“Angela and Michael’s house is very spacious with a big garden where you can relax with a glass of wine or a summer’s diner. Close to supermarkets and even the center of Hausach is at walking distance. Tavi, the domestic cat totally accepted us as temporary head of the mansion and even sat on our laps once in a while. We highly recommend this place to visit all the nice cities of the Black Forest and, not to forget, the highest waterfall of Europe very nearby. Our last day in Hausach we enjoyed the company of Angela and Michael, they showed us around the fortress and invited us to a most delicious lunch in a nearby restaurant. We are glad to be still in contact with them.”

“I stayed in Hausach in Angela and Michael's home, with three teenagers who wanted to go skiing in the Black Forest during our mid term holiday in February. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor and it was perfect for us, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. We met our hosts on arrival and they were very helpful and friendly during our week's stay, even inviting us to a lovely meal with them one night. Really lovely. The area is fantastic and we went skiing most days and visited some spa/swimming pools and some local museums and sights. A great week and a lovely exchange.”

“Nous avions choisi l'Allemagne un peu par défaut car notre désir de vacances outre-atlantiques était tombé à l'eau pour cette année. Alors l'Allemagne, pourquoi pas? D'autant plus que nous cherchions quelque chose pas trop loin de la frontière afin que mon mari puisse nous rejoindre le week-end depuis Paris! Nous avons donc conclu notre échange avec Angela à Hausach dans la vallée de la Kinsig en Forêt Noire. Quelles bonnes vacances nous avons passé là! La région est magnifique, les gens sont aimables et serviables. Le peu d'allemand que nous pratiquons ne nous a pas posé de problème puisque nous nous debrouillions en anglais et que beaucoup d'allemands parlent français. Quant à Angela, elle est parfaitement bilingue! Nous avons fait beaucoup d'activités (randonnée à vélo, visites de Freiburg à Karlruhe, accrobranche, visite de mines, EuropaPark etc etc) et quant nous rentrions, nous trouvions une jolie maison accueillante et confortable. Nous étions souvent en communication par mail avec Angela, indispensable pour renseigner ce qu'on a oublié de dire parfois! Les enfants ont été ravis, ce qui n'est pas peu dire quand on a 3 ados à satisfaire! Au départ, ce n'était pas gagné mais à l'arrivée, nous avons vraiment tous passé d'excellentes vacances! Alors n'hésitez plus!”
