About our home

Inspiring views of the Alps atop a hill overlooking the small town of Hilzingen. Only minutes from Lake Constance and the Swiss border (50 minutes to Zurich Airport). 90 minutes will take you to Austria, France and heart of Switzerland. Our home sits alone on a huge property with beautiful gardens and absolute privacy. There are three large bedrooms on the second floor and a completely furnished Dachgeschoss (attic) with its own balcony and room to sleep another 4 guests. Every room from the front has views to the south over the town to the Alps. Large modern kitchen ready for the aspiring gourmet who tours by day and cooks in the evening! Lots of room for pets to run and play...with adult supervision!

Inspiring views of the Alps atop a hill overlooking the small town of Hilzingen. Only minutes from Lake Constance and the Swiss border (50 minutes to Zurich Airport). 90 minutes will take you to Austria, France and heart of Switzerland. Hilzingen is surrounded by rolling farmland, yet only a short drive (or even bicycle ride) to the Lake of Constance (Bodensee). Day trips to Stuttgart, Munich, Zurich, Basel, and the Alsace (France) and the Bregenzerwald (western Austria) are all possible. In the immediate vicinity are the ruins of four ancient castles sitting on volcanic extrusions, all lovely hikes on any given day. If you are a sportsman, there is fishing, swimming, boating, biking, hiking and skiing--all within easy reach by either auto or public transport.
