Located within 10 minutes of the famous Glockenspiel & Marienplatz , the apartment was completely renovated in 2013 with an extreme love for detail and the finest of materials.
The apartment is located on the third floor and is extremely unique as there are 3 small balconies facing both north, east and west. Parket wood floors are throughout and an eclectic mix of mid- century furniture, morocan rugs and curated art creates an atmosphere that has been featured in many photo shoots and design-living magazines.
There is one fully furnished bedroom with a 1,80 m bed, TV , walk in closet and a small balcony that faces north. The bedroom is located in the back of the building so it is very quiet and private. It also has its own private bathroom with a glassed in shower.
The study/TV room has a pull out couch that can also accommodate 2, but is ca 1,30 m wide. A wide screen TV with all the modern amenities (netflix/Apple TV etc) is located here as well as the largest balcony that faces the quiet inner courtyard facing west. Sonos sound systems are located throughout.
The second bath is at the end of the entry hall and has a glassed in shower as well and heated marble flooring.
The living and dining areas are entered though French doors and is a wonderful place for entertaining and enjoying the small West balcony which is flanked by Bavarian sculptures from 1890.
The kitchen is sleek, modern and almost looks more like a piece of furniture, but actually has all the modern amenities one needs: washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and convection oven.
The street here is very alive with many bars/ restaurants which is atypical for the Glockenbach area and the subway is 5 minutes walk which connects one to all main lines and in one stop the main central station for the Deutsche Bahn.
The river Isar running through the middle of Munich is also a 10 minute walk south of the apartment and is ideal for a morning run or bicycling to one of the many famous Munich beer gardens.
The apartment is also ideal for Octoberfest as it is a 13 minute walk to the famous Wiesn where millions of visitors visit Munich each year.
