Where is it?

The house is located in a small residents only street, comprised of 9 similar houses in a quiet residential street and walking distance (1/2 hour) to the town center. Public transport runs frequently.
Ideally located in the centre of Europe as a touring base, Marburg has train connections to all European capitals (Paris 5 hours, Hamburg 4 hours, Berlin 4 hours, Frankfurt 1 hour).
Marburg itself is a small, picturesque medieval university town with around 80000 inhabitants. Venice is known for its 1.000 bridges, Marburg for its 1.000 alleys and stairs. Narrow lanes wind wind through its vibrant Old Town and it is also blessed with the Elisabeth Church, Germany's oldest pure Gothic Cathedral. Established in 1527, the Philipps University is Europe's oldest protestant University. Towering above Old Town sits the medieval Castle. Marburg offers an interesting cultural life with an unconventional cultural scene. For more information look at
