About our home

Our home (built 2005) is a semidetached townhouse with a gorgeous, little, fairy-tale garden. It has a spacious ground floor with a comfortable living-dining-cooking area with an open fireplace and a great playing area for kids. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wintergarden, balcony and extra roof terrace, washing-machine and dryer.
Our very ingrown backyard has a great BBQ area, sandbox, playhouse and nice sitting areas.

We have travelled a lot and our interiors will tell you so. The furniture mainly has an Asian influence.
One of the basement rooms will be locked, so we can store our personal things there.

More about us

  1. Our four leafed clover consists of Mom Silke & Dad Nikolai and two kids Fiona (2010) and Vincent (2014). We love to travel and spend time abroad. Luckily Niko can do his work (makes medical 3D animation films) while we are traveling. And I am on maternity leave for 6 years. Therefore we are very flexible with our traveling dates and lengths.
As we are used to traveling a lot, we ALL enjoy cozy, nice places to stay and know how to respect other peoples belongings and hope that you do the same with ours.
Niko´s and my favorite things run from biking, triathlon, diving, yoga, exploring nature, camping, handcrafting, chilling and enjoying music and if you ask Fiona of course playing all day long. And Vincent is practicing hard to start talking pretty much all day long :-)

Where is it?

The location is fantastic, because you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and yet it takes only a few minutes to reach Muenchner Freiheit with its cafes, restaurants, shops and bustling Schwabinger street life and the University area. Or a few subway stops further you are right in the heart of Munich and its famous Marienplatz and pedestrian zone. You can ride the bike downtown without ever crossing a street, because the extensive English Garden is right next door and reaches all the way to the downtown area.
Munich is a very bike friendly city. Feel free to use our bikes (2 adults and 2 kids)

Quiet residential area with friendly neighbors. Only a few steps to the famous English Garden, perfect for jogging, picnicking, Biergarden, playgrounds, or just enjoying nature.
Yet only 5min walk to the subway that brings you downtown within minutes. Cafe´s, Restaurants, shopping within 5min by car, 10min by bike and subway. All our friends "envy" us for the great location of our house :-)
The subway runs along the University, Museums, cinemas, right to the Marienplatz the centre of town.
