About our home

We offer a spacious and stylish 3-bedroom apartment in the center of Munich. The house is a beautiful art deco structure from the turn of the century, with high stucco-ceilings, big windows and wooden floors. There is a two person-bedroom, a commodious living room with a big sofa (optional bed for another two persons), a big study, a kitchen, an ample hallway and a balcony. The bathroom offers a tub, a toilet, a washing machine and a dryer; there is also a separate toilet.

We are a young couple - Claudia (31), art historian/editor and Tobias (31), furniture designer/cabinet maker. We are curious and love to travel, and we are excited about the opportunities that a home exchange offers. We'll be happy to give ideas and organisational help for your stay in Munich. Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our apartment is within walking distance to the Oktoberfest site; the river Isar with its beautiful riverbanks is also nearby. We have a very good connection to public transport, you can reach all sights, museums and galleries within minutes; shopping oppurtunities as well as restaurants are close; there is almost no traffic noise. Munich is the ideal starting point for day trips to the Alps, Neuschwanstein Castle, Austria (Salzburg), Nuremberg and Regensburg.
