About our home

----LOOKING FOR EXCHANGE IN Mid-AUGUST 2020 SOMEWHERE WARM :-)----

Our 115m2 flat has a big balcony to admire the Alps on sunny days. There are three rooms and a huge living room, two bathrooms (one with bathtub and one with a shower, both of them with a toilet), and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two double-beds, a bunk-bed with one double and one single bed, and a pull-out sofa in the living room. Although it is only a 10 min walk to the east rail station, the house is very quiet and surrounded by a small park. The house is a 10 min walk from a very lively quarter Haidhausen with a pretty pedestrian area and bunch of beautiful cafes and tiny shops.

Munich has a lot to offer: a great choice of museums (three Pinakotheken for art lovers, a huge Deutsches Museum for science lovers, etc, etc.), festivals and events in the summer, christmas markets in winter-time, a crystal-clear icy river in the middle of the city to jump into on very hot days, beergardens on every corner, surfers in a surprising location, and many more things. You can explore Munich really well by cycling. We can lend you our bikes and a bike trailer for two children.

It is also a great base for day- or weekend-trips to the mountains, beautiful palaces or other cities in Austria, Italy or Czech Republic. Thanks to its relaxed atmosphere during summer and its 'joie de vivre' attitude, locals call it "Italy's furthest northern city".
