About our home

Our two story, two bedroom apartment is on the top floor of a renovated old building in the beautiful city of Dusseldorf. Our neighbourhood is one of the best in the city, with easy access to the "Old Town" and all its great amenities. There are also lovely local pubs, fancy restaurants and nice markets in the immediate vicinity. Dusseldorf is in Germany and located close to the border of Holland and Belgium, with easy access to France and Luxemborg - perfect as a base for a relaxing European tour. When you're done with your many day/weekend trip possibilities, you can relax with a drink on our sunny private balcony and enjoy the stars.

Neighbourhood

Just over the Oberkassel bridge, away from the interesting and fun, but sometimes hectic "Old Town", you will find us in a quiet and somewhat gentrified area of the city. Oberkassels beautiful old buildings have been maintained over the years and the neighbourhood has a lovely feel to it. Walking or biking along the Rhine is a favourite past time, but there are also plenty of parks and boulevard cafes to relax in. The neighbourhood is well used to visitors, and although everyone you meet will not speak English, they will certainly give it a try to help you if they can.
