About our home
Our house is part of a historical housing scheme built in the 1920ies in the little town of Luckenwalde. The scheme has the shape of a hoof iron with the houses standing around a meadow in the center and long gardens behind the houses. The house itself is simple and easy to live in. In the first floor is a room for the children to play, the kitchen, one bathroom, one other room as entry, the living room and our office which i might close to visitors. In the second flloor we have one more little bathroom and three sleeping rooms. Behind the house a terrasse leads to the garden which has a size of 800 square meters. There is an annex which consists of a bathroom plus sauna, a workshop and a garage. At the end of the garden there is a pizza oven plus brazier and another garage for bikes. There is a public swimming poo, the city center and a little zoo in walking distance. The region is famous for the Fläming-Skate, a grid of bike paths of more than 200 km. The train brings you to the center of Berlin (Potsdamer Platz) in 45 minutes without change. But in our opinion there is absolutely no need to travel to Berlin ;)
