About our home

Our apartment is 85m2 surrounded by olive groves it in a picturesque part of Greece on the island of Crete as you enter the main door there is a kitchen diner to the left is a shower and toilet room. Next is the living room which is quite spacious the kitchen and living room floors are old terrazzo marble. This house was built in 1960. There is double bedroom and a single bedroom both lead out to the little veranda which stretched a cross the from of the house. We have a portable air con which can be moved from the front to the back of the house as its on wheels. The walls of this stone built house are 21 inches thick so it's very cool in summer and warm in winter.
We have a cot and a high chair
WiFi Internet landline
Parking outside is fine there's always somewhere to park.
We have a washing machine
Equipt kitchen
Fly screens but we don't get many I had one mosquito bit in the whole time I've been living here.

We are very central on the island which means its a great starting point to explore. Our neighbours are all Greek and very sweet they bring us fruits when we first arrived here two years ago they welcomed us and brought gifts of fruits and cakes and invited us to there houses... We always get a hug from them. Every week several fruit fish and ever vans selling chairs tables clothes come to the village and stop outside our door which is a great way to meet the neighbour and say hello. They are do sweet and I love them. There are so ms y thing I want to tell you.
OK let me tell you about the tVerna directly below our house it owned by very sweet man called Nikos he has his own farm where he brings all his own ingredients from he cooks traditional food and his mama makes beautiful desserts. He also provides take away food but only to us.. And you of course he is a wonderful person. He plays very soft music I cannot even hear it from my veranda but its a delight to sit out there and listen to the people giggling and clinking there glasses and the murmur of chatter. It is not intrusive in anyway in fact it a delight. Plus you don't have far to go yo get home if you and your friend want to fine out and have drinks in the evening.
Now let me tell you more there is a medical centre on the next street along from us and they are open 24hours 7 days a week it's a wonderful place e ery one is do cheerful and helpful and it's a good feeling to know your well looked after.
