About our home

Do you own or lease a flat in NYC? Are you relocating to Athens for 1-3 years? I have a brand new flat (built in 2007) in Nea Smirni which is ideally located between the sea and the centre (both are 15 by car when the traffic permits it 30-35m at rush hour), as a result the area is very popular with professionals. There are various local amenities:
A bus stop with buses to the centre or the port and it is only a 15m walk or a short bus ride from the new metro station of Dafni also there are numerous local shops.

The flat will be available at the beginning of August. It has the entire 3rd floor; 85m2 (915 square ft); 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and two balconies; one south facing, one North facing. Both are big enough for dinning and have views all the way to the sea (5 miles away). It has awnings and air conditioning. These is a very large storage room at the basement of the building, off street parking, a security door upstairs and an entry phone, double glazing, gas central heating, a very bright sunny flat, lift, earthquake proof construction, also the possibility of using a 500sq ft private roof terrace with amazing panoramic views of Athens all the way to the sea. The flat is unfurnished at present but a solution can be found if this is an issue.

The flat was developed by me and for me so finished to a very high standard and is currently leased till the end of August at €850(as I work in London at present), which is the top end of the market in Athens. I would prefer a house swap as the flat would be looked after and also it will reduce my income tax. I will be relocating to NYC for 1-3 years for work. Lower Manhattan would be preferable but anywhere in NY commuter belt would be considered.
