About our home

The apartment is located in the historic and artistic centre of Athens. This fourth floor conversion has just been completed in 2015. The building's lower three floors are still used for their original purpose of storing shoes. It is an apartment of 220 sqm with a further 100 sqm of terraces. It has wrap around large windows with expansive views of the Acropolis and the ancient world. It is surrounded by many art galleries, cafes and traditional tavernas.
Transport: Four minutes walk to Monastiraki Metro Station.
Kitchen: Open plan marble and iron kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a small electric oven that has three hot plates, a fridge, a coffee maker, a kettle and all necessary cutlery and crockery.
Living Room: 120 sqm with windows overlooking the terrace to the Acropolis. Sofa seating for 12 and a full size table tennis table.
Dining: 4 metre long custom built Iron and timber dining table with seats for 14.
Bathroom: Two full bathrooms. One very large with twin showers and separate toilet and one smaller with shower and toilet.
Bedrooms: Two large bedrooms with king size doubles that sleep up to 4. One more person can sleep in the huge living area (100 sq. metres).

  1. Maria Giovanna is Italian and she teaches English and Dean, from New Zealand but raised in Australia, is entrepreneur in tourism.

  2. We are a couple with a suitcase: we live between Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy), Athens and Melbourne.

  3. We love traveling, learning about other countries and cultures, art, cinema, nature and ... chocolate!
