Where is it?

Kalloni is a quiet and inspiring village with traditional and inexpensive nearby taverns. In the same area, the visitor can see the house/museum of Nikos Kazantzakis, and also the "Labyrinth", Ross Daly's music school. The house is 10 kms from the archeological site of Knossos, or 5 kms from Archanes, the international award winner village in architecture. If you want nightlife and other urban comforts (such as hospital care), the cosmopolitan city of Heraklion is only a 15 minute ride. Nearby beaches (20 min ride): Amnissos, Toubrouk, Karteros. Slightly further beach (40 min ride): Xersonissos.
