About our home

Medieval heart of Rhodes Town
inside the 13th century UNESCO World Heritage City,,renovated with parts of the historical building,135 sq with 300 sq garden ,enclosed by a high wall,wireless Internet free ,800 m to the beach
Directly in the center of the medieval city, behind a high wall you will find hidden on 135 sq m Villa Roxanne. with 350 sq garden.On the ground floor is the large living room with comfortable seating and library, fireplace, TV & satellite, telephone (free worldwide calls,but no cell phones!!!),free wireless and a dinning area.To the kitchen leads a low passage with a semicircular arch (listed building) and there you will find all necessary kitchen equipment and a washing machine. A wooden staircase leads to first floor, to the two bedrooms with each one with a double bed and the bedrooms got air condition.One of the bedrooms got adding a wooden balcony (where can stay 2 persons) and a fireplace.The bath is located in the middle and has a massage shower and bidet.In the whole house are mosquito nets inside the windows and the shutters or blinds are adjustable to dark the rooms.
On the terrace, guests can have their meals under the sun umbrella and a sitting area and the garden invites you to enjoy the hammock or the barbecue .
Please note:
On the enclosed ground we have a second house with it's own terrace and May & September friends are staying there for 2 weeks during their holidays.
The house was re-build in 2002 ,original 13 th century. As a second home we could offer you our other property for up to 3 person in the old town,please request pictures.The property is within the greek neighbourhood, among the friendly locals, close to all sight seeings, restaurants, bars, museum, beach. No car necessary. Please visit our website for reviews from our customers.We have very mild winters up to 20 C,compare to the rest of Europe and till January it's possible to swim in the ocean.usually the raining period starts from the end of January till middle of march.

I'm self employed in tourism,renting vacation homes on Rhodes Island and traditional houses.German native with more then 21 years living in Greece.My daughter will graduate 2013 from school and i will travel alone or with max. 3 person in the travel company.Experienced home exchanger, we already had people from various countries. We will treat your home with respect and we will leave it the way it was upon arrival,as well we are happy to feed & cuddle your cat/dog.Our home is a second one, non-simultaneous exchange welcome and this home is in the heart of the beautiful medieval Town of Rhodes and it is ideal as a base for all types of holidays. If you are looking for any long term exchange as well,please feel free to contact me. I speak English,German and Greek. We are renting this place to tourists and unfortunately i can't except exchanges June - October,unless 2 weeks prior if vacant.

Explore the island's wealth of byzantine churches and other historical sites like the Grandmaster Palace, and if you have time you can save a couple days for a relaxing beach vacation Rhodes getaway in the south of Rhodes Island.Around Rhodes City and other Rhodes destinations , you'll find plenty of restaurants, tavern's,shops (jewelery,furs and various Greek products),

cafes and as well bars and an excellent throw your cares away nightlife.Witch is actually most popular within the medieval city of Rhodes by Greeks and foreign Visitors.

If Island hopping is on your agenda, you will find Greek ferries operating from Rhodes Mandraki ,or the newly build commercial harbor that can transport you to other desirable destinations in Greece such as Crete,Kos,Mykonos Santorini,Symi,Halki,Tilos and Kastelorizio,or to other country's like Cyprus , Aegypt ,Italy and Turkey.
