It's our summer house in the beautiful island of Cephalonia (remember Captain Coreli's mandolin?). We spend there an average of 3-4 weeks per year, usually in August so the rest of the house its closed.
The house is located at the village of Spartia, 2km. from the closest beach, 10 minutes drive from at least 15 beaahes (some of them the best in the island) and 10 minutes drive from the island's capital Argostoli. There is a mini market in the village, cafe-bar at the square here usually kids play and cycle in the the evening and adults have their drinks and a good selection of dinning.
Not the place I would stay for the winter ( I am a city person, but definitely plan to spend 6 months or less there when I retire!)
It's quiet, sun drenched with 3 spacious bedrooms, a large living room, hall, kitchen with a kitchen table for 6 and a toilet as well outdoor shower (for after beach showering). Front veranda with undisturbed view of mount Aenos and kitchen veranda for morning coffee/breakfast. It is fully equipped with utensils, electric kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. Practically a house one can live permanently.
