About our home

Brand new Villa Chrysalis is situated just a stone's throw from town and yet it enjoys all the privacy, peace and tranquility of a country side villa. Its outstanding harbour views, combined with spacious outdoor areas, private swimming pool with built-in pool side BBQ and roomy interiors make this high standard villa a great choice for larger parties and families. Just 150meters down, a footpath leads to the outskirts of town and from there a 10 to 15 min enchanting walk through the narrow cobbled streets will eventually take you to the picturesque harbour front of Skopelos Town.

The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen/living area, all tastefully furnished and decorated.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 4 living in Skopelos. Mette is Danish and Rigas is Greek and our 2 little girls are just a perfect mix. We love travelling and before having children we traveled around the world, but now things have to be slightly more organized and we would like to have the amenities of a real home when travelling.

Where is it?

Skopelos Town is a very traditional town which offers a great opportunity to experience the real Greece, while also having a great choice of tavernas, shops etc. As you wander through the colourful, flower-filled backstreets of town, the houses are charming and beautifully kept and around nearly every bend is an enchanting little chapel. As we head down nearer the waterfront to the towns’ centre, one finds small neighbourhood utility shops such as markets, hardware and dry cleaners right alongside the good selection of quality tourist shops on offer. This gives the town the feeling of a living, working community with a heartbeat still focused on ordinary life outside of tourism. The shopping district spills down naturally to the harbourfront and boasts many shops producing locally made products. A good variety of pottery, jewellery and lace can be found, much of which is hand made by local artists in unique and beautiful designs.
