Our flat is the perfect base to leave from and arrive to if you want to discover the beauties of Budapest or Hungary. It is located right in the middle of Budapest, just about 200m from the Parliament and the Danube. It is small, but can fit 2 people, has a double bed, small kitchen and a bathroom. Quiet place, looking to the internal court, 4th floor, with elevator. TV, DVD Player, 20+ cable channels.
At Budapest 's central (5th) district, best part of Budapest this side of the river Danube. Access to all kinds of public transportation within two hundred meters, but actually there are TONS of interesting sights within walking distance.
Budapest is one of the greatest capital cities of the world with a wonderful setting along the two banks of the Danube, a bewildering eclectic architectural heritage and a stunning atmosphere. While not all is rosy in the bustling capital of Hungary (there are tons of neglected and crumbling 100-year-old buildings), Budapest is full of architectural gems (for example iconic Heroes' Square and the Chain Bridge), atmospheric streets, has several pleasant parks and islands, and of course the majestically flowing river Danube, which cuts the city into two parts: Pest and Buda. Pest is completely flat (this includes downtown Budapest), while Buda is a hilly area.
We are a young couple, Rita and Balazs, both 35, no children. Rita works in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and loves travelling to new places, meet new people and cultures. Balazs works in the financial sector, loves computers, likes to take a break from his demanding business. We speak Hungarian, English and French, +a very little Italian.
