Neighbourhood

BUDAPEST
The capital of Hungary is a lively city with its 1.8 million residents. Divided by the river Danube, it has two sides; the hilly Buda and the bustling Pest. Downtown areas considered district V and VI. Our flat is in the VI distirct, in a residential area (beautiful old villas and gardens), off Andrasy Avenue, which is part of the world herritage. The first underground in the continent to be found here, which stops just 2 minutes from our flat, less than 10 minutes walk you can find museums, turkish baths, great restaurants, like the world famous Gundel, or Gerbeaud. In a 15-20 minutes walk radius, you can reach the beautiful Chain Bridge and enjoy magnificient views of the Danube, or stroll on the several hunderd years old shopping street, the Vaci street, don't forget to visit the Hungarian's pride: their Parlament, facing the Danube with its beautiful spiral towers. Wherever you go, you'll find great meals (yes, the Chicken paprikas and the goulash soups are excellent), and don't forget to try the wines, they are outstanding!
SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE, MEXICO: Old Spanish colonial town, in the heart of Mexico.Big artist community, beautiful arquitecture, spring like weather all year around, hot springs, art classes and galleries, beautiful colours and light!
