About our home

Family home in the historical centre of Pécs, among wine regions south Hungary.
The house was built in 1885. It's location provides easy accessibility to most of the city's offerings, however as it is situated in the traffic restricted area, you can relax in a quite and comfortable home in the hearth of Pécs.

More about us

  1. We are a family with four children. Two of them are at school age and two of them are young adults. The parents are dedicated to the medical profession. Mum is psychotherapiast while dad is cardiologist. Our everydays are filled, beside the duties with sports and with a lot of music. We already participated in seven longer summer exchanges (London, France & Holland) and are ravished by the experiences.

Where is it?

The home is located inside the historic city wall, two corners far from the main pedestrian street. The city area has an intimate calm and historical atmosphere. Several exhibition rooms, theaters, and the walking streets with shops and restaurant are nearby. The city was one of the Cultural Capital of Europe 2010 that has included refurbishment of several buildings and squares. See some images at or the frequently updated pictures of amateur patriots at The nearby mountain, the protected villages (like Feked or Palkonya) and on the south the wine-yards of Villány offer themselves as targets for excursions.
