About our home

This unicue, charming house was built in 1898 and fully renovated in 2006. It is located in the heart of Akureyri, within walking distance from down town where you find plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and various attractions. Also the harbour is within a few hundred meters. The house has a cozy and warm athmosphere and everyone who stays there falls in love with it. We absolutely LOVE to spend time there. In the basement there is a small wine celler with a collection of wine for guests to enjoy. We are a couple that have an eye for the details that make the extra something special about staying in our house. We welcome people who like the beautiful details of life.
