About our home

The house is about 115 m2 built in 2004. Beautiful small garden and spacious patio with furniture and a good barbecue. Swings for the kids. The kitchen is well equipped, big combined living and dining room, one small bathroom (with shower), big bathroom with a very good shower and big bath tube, 4 bedrooms. The house is located close to a garden and playground for kids. An outdoor water park within walking distance with hot tubes and great water slides. Akureyri is a beautiful town with just over 18.000 inhabitants. It's the largest town outside the Reykjavík area. It's located in the Northern part of Iceland with a beautiful fjord. Good location to visit Lake Mývatn and other beautiful places in the north. Akureyri was on the top of Lonely planet's list of best places in Europe 2015.
