About our home
Our home is a beautiful modern, spacious two story house. It has a large kitchen with adjoining dining room and a fantastic mountain view.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room, as well as a garage. On the second floor there is a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as a big balcony. Last summer we built a big terrace at the back yard, which offers privacy to sunbathe or barbecue (currently I have no photos of the new terrace.) We can as well offer our amazing summer house located in southern Iceland (nearby places are Thingvellir, and the Golden Circle (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Circle_(Iceland). The summerhouse has 2 floors, 3 bedrooms, slepps up to 10 people. It is very well equipped. So we kind a have a 2 for 1 offer:). This summer we are planning to travel with Sigruns parents, sister and her daughter.

We are a family of five. Medical doctor (43 year old), psychologist (40 year old) and three children (16, 11 and 3). We also have a dog (Cotton de tulear) We love to travel, exploring the world and different cultures.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Our house is located in Norðlingaholt a quiet neighborhood at the eastern edge of Reykjavík. The area is fairly high in elevation but is vegetated and very beautiful. In the vicinity are the major outdoor recreation areas of Reykjavík proper, Heiðmörk and Elliðavatn, the latter being quite popular during the summertime for angling and horse riding. 15 minutes by car to downtown Reykjavik.
Our summerhouse is located 66 km from our home or about 45 minutes to 1 hour by car
