Built in 1900, renovated in 2006, original furniture from Iceland´s mid 1900´s. Close to the sea, in a remote fishing-village, Bolungarvik, 800 inhabitants. Two stories, timber, sleeps 4 adults and two young children in bunker beds. Fully eq kitchen. One bathroom with shower. Heated outdoor-pool within 10 mins walk. Two grocery stores and a museum, restaurant and the pool all within 5-10 mins walk. Beautiful scenery. Steep mountains, breathtaking hiking opportunities. Two daily flights from REK to IFJ, 2 car-rentals at IFJ-AP, Bolungarvik a 20 mins drive away. End of the world. No need for car, bus transfer from IFJ -AP to Threshold of Hjari. Bedsheets and towels, all you need exc touth-brush. Out of this world. Can t get further..next stop North pole.
