About our home
We built our 173 m2 home 6 years ago. It is in the country side with lot of free space around and about 10 km from Akureyri. Close to the Christmas house. About 1 hour drive from Lake Myvatn, Husavik and Siglufjordur. Many great hiking routs nearby, swimming pools and whale watching possabilities. Northern lights during dark days (winter time).

Not only is the house uniquely located on a mountainside with view towards Akureyri bay, it is also modern and neatly decorated with all the things you possibly need. Jóhanna and Odin's family lives nearby and were very friendly and hospitable. An unforgettable experience we will always have in our memories as one of our best vacations.”
