About our home

We offer a spacious house. We have three bedrooms, one with double bed and two with single bed. There is one living room overlooking the garden, one study (with a sofa where 2 people can sleep) , and a large kitchen where all the family can eat. It's a well kept family house, with parket floors, fireplace in the living room and a decking area accessible from the living room. We have a very big garden.

More about us

We are a family of four. I am a lawyer and my husband is a dental technician who runs his own company. Our boys are 12 and 13 years old and play football and computer games. They are well behaved and respectful of other people´s properties. Of course, we will take care of your home and expect you to do the same with ours.
We like all kinds of activities, outdoors and indoors, and we ski in the winter.
This is the first time we decided to see if we could exchange our home during the holidays.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our house is located in a small rural community but only twenty minutes drive from downtown Reykjavík. It is very close to the sea, there is a pond at the back of our house and beautiful view of the mountains surrounding Reykjavík. It is nice and quit yet only a short driving distance from all kinds of activity. There is five minutes drive to next supermarket.
