About our home
Our home is a charming row house/terrace house with four bedrooms in a quiet town few minutes from Reykjavik (10 minutes by car). We have a modern kitchen and two bathrooms, large living room with adjoining dining room. Two bedrooms with King size bed, one bedroom with a child bed and another with two children beds. The apartment is very comfortable and well located. We have have a nice garden with trampoline, sand box and toys. We also have another small outdoor garden in the middle of the house. We have a private parking. This is a non-smoking home.

We are a couple with three children, 8 years old girl and 5 years old twins. We are both professionals, I work in marketing and my husband runs an ad agency. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen on trying it. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay here in Iceland.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
Our home is situated in Gardabaer close to a geothermal swimming pool. It is conveniently close to Reykjavik city centre, about 10 minutes by car or bus. The neighbourhood is very family friendly with nice play grounds and great transportation. We recently moved from Reykjavik City Center to Gardabaer and we love it here. There is an outdoor swimming pool in a walking distance. There is a playground across the street (quiet street) and another one few minutes from our house.
