About our home

A bright and spacious 3 bedroom family apartment, centrally located in the Reykjavik metropolitan area. Easy access to downtown Reykjavik by car or public transport (10-15 min). Shops and supermarkets are close and it only takes minutes to drive out of the city. Plenty of free parking. Beautiful surroundings and views. Renovated in 2019.

We have lived here for more then 10 years. We love the location, being relatively close to Reykjavik center, but still enjoy the leafy green area and the parks nearby. The apartment is in a small building, on the second floor of three. As you enter the apartment you have a wardrobe on one hand and on the other a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a high table and chairs by the window to enjoy the view while you have breakfast. The living room has a dining table for 6, a leather sofa for 4 and two lounge chairs. There is also a flat screen smart TV there. From the living room you walk on to the balcony for when the sun shines. There is a double bed and wardrobe in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a bed that can be extended to sleep two. The third bedroom has a cot and changing table. The bathroom has a large walk in shower. There are hardwood floors in the apartment, except the bathroom and kitchen which have tiles. A private washer and dryer are in the communal area on the ground floor.
