About our home

Our townhouse is situated in a complex just off Reykjavik's main shopping street - Laugavegur - and provides the best of both worlds: space and comfort, all within walking distance of the heart of the city. In addition to 3 bedrooms, there is a second sitting area upstairs, which could double as a play area for children, or for sleeping a seventh guest.

The complex includes an undercover, secured carpark; private, secured courtyard with play equipment for children, and an industrial-sized washer-dryer/laundry room.

More about us

We are two academics - one an engineer (Icelandic), the other a social scientist (Australian/British) with a two year old boy. We love exploring and experiencing different parts of the world, living as the locals do. We have let out our home in Reykjavik, Iceland to dozens of international couples and families over the last couple of years, with great success, and we are looking forward to expanding our adventures via home exchange :) Sometimes one or both of our mothers travel with us. We do not have pets at our home and when we are staying at someone else's home, we prefer not to have contact with pets.
