Our home in Hafnarfjörður (10 km form downtown Reykjavik) was fully renovated in 2007. The decor is light and Scandinavian but our furniture comes from different parts of the world Currently we are renovating the garage to be a studio apartment, sleeping 2-3 people. The garden faces south so when there is sun is Iceland our garden is a melting pot. While it is yet to be renovated, it is very nice to sit the and have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our home is located in Hafnarfjordur, a town of 29 thousand people, with easy access by bus to Reykjavik. Hafnarfjordur boosts of a beautiful harbour and downtown area and several options for dining out. An outdoor heated public swimming pool is located only a 2 minute walk from our house and there are several hiking options around Hafnarfjordur.
We are a couple with a 23 year old daughter. Also living with us is Erró - a 5 year old labrador dog
