About our home

Our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is located in Hveragerdi, a small town that lies 45 km east of Reykjavik. The house includes all the equipments needed, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, PC/internet and lot of toys for the kids. The house is detatched with large back garden and is located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood.

We are a family of five. Ari, 42, is a music teacher and a sound editor of "Lazy Town" TV series, Berglind, 40, is a Registered nurse. We have three kids, Isar, aged 13, Astros, aged 11 and Arnar, aged 4. We also have a Havanese dog, he can stay elsewhere if preferred. Our home is smokefree. We love to travel, and we would very much like to stay in a warm and sunny place during the Christmas/New year 2007. At other times we are open for all offers.

HveragerÃ°i is a small town of about 1,700 inhabitants that lies some 45 km east of ReykjavÃk, Iceland's capital. The town is set on a large geometral area with lot of hot springs and small geysirs, and greenhouse cultivation is the primary industry. The town is located near the principal highway, short way from some of Icelandic biggest attractions, like Thingvellir national park, Geysir, Gullfoss waterfall and the glaciers. From Hveragerdi is great access to touring Iceland, hiking, skiing, fishing, horse riding, driving on the glaciers etc. To Reykjavik is 25 min. drive, there you will find lots of restaurants, shops, nightclubs and even whale watching. We are willing to exchange car if preferred.
