About our home

Our home is in good location in Kopavogur which is realy close to Reykjavik. We live in four bedroom apartment with our own entrance. We also have closed garden with barbeque, table and chairs, and a litle garden where we grow our own chives, spinach, salvia and mint. Outside that is a bigger garden with everything for the children. We have all the toys that a kid can image, you can imagine when there are two boys in the house. We have all the comfort that we need :) for example LCD, cable, high speed internet, dish washer, dryer and automatic coffie machine. We go often to the two swimming pools that are near. We like hiking and there are great outdoor hiking areas near. We have two bikes for grown ups and two for children.

More about us

Our family consists of 4 people, dad which is a technical director at television station, mom which is key account manager for financial company and 9 year old twin boys.
We love traveling and seeing new things and love sun and good weather.
We have tried home exchange two times before, and loved it.

Where is it?

We think our home is in good location in Kopavogur which is 10 min drive from city central Reykjavik. If you would need to shop then we are 10 min walk from the biggest shopping mall in Iceland and near that we have three grocery stores, bakery and pizzeria for exemple.
We often go to the two swimming pools that are near like 5-7 minutes drive. We like hiking and there are great outdoor hiking areas near like Esjan. Then there is Iceland, which as you will find out is one of the most beautiful place on earth. There is one hour drive to Geysir, Gullfoss and Thingvellir, and about 45 minutes to the Blue Lagoon. If you like camping,we can loan you all the gear for that, we go few times over the summer and that is something we like a lot to go out the nature and enjoy the fresh air and the pure nature.
