“We had the most wonderful experience at Both Gunnar and Maria's places. Their home in Reykjavik is lovely and so well appointed and so centrally located we were able to walk everywhere! They made us feel so welcome and were kind enough to let us stay at both their places so that we could get a feeling for the city and the country life. Both properties are stunning. The country house was built by Gunnar and is made from wood imported form Brazil, and he has planted hundreds of trees (a rare find isn Iceland) on his property to create his own private forest. Its a peaceful quiet spot in the beautiful Southland. En route to the golden triangle. I highly recommend a visit to Iceland, and a stay with Maria and Gunnar. We enjoyed meeting them so much, we hope we can arrange to travel with them in the future!”

“Iceland is AMAZING!! Wow what a beautiful country! If you have not been, it should definitely be on your bucket list ! Maria is an absolute pleasure to work with and communicate with. Their house is beautiful and comfortable and very clean :-))) The home is located within walking distance of restaurants shops and museums and the waterfront! We took daytrip‘s in each direction every day and saw amazing waterfalls, Beautiful hikes, Rolene green lush Hills, and the healthiest and cleanest food I’ve ever eaten ! This is a huge compliment coming from a Nutritional therapist. We would gladly come back and stay in Maria’s house as well as explore the entire country by car the next visit. Maria has great advice and outstanding information on points of interests, shops and restaurants. ”
