About our home

My house is downtown Reykjavik (very central), 80 square meters, two stories, bed upstairs for a couple, a possibility for a 3rd sleeper and even a 4th sleeper (on mattresses). Grand piano on 1st floor, small old fashioned kitchen but 100 % functional, toilet and bathtub downstairs (no shower). There is TV with satellite dish (UK TV and Radio programs: BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc. etc.). The house is situated withing walking distance (few minutes) of all the best museums, bars, restaurants, Laugavegur (shopping street), the old harbour, Harpa Concert Hall, Swimming pool, The Parliament and Hallgrimskirkja Church (where people gather on New Year's Eve to enjoy enormous fireworks over Reykjavik and to welcome the new year). - The neighborhood is very quiet even though it's central in "Old Reykjavik". I have a car which is available for visitors.
