About our home

We built our family home in the summer of 2008. We have three kids so above all we decided making it a practical and bright living space, with high ceilings and big windows. The views are stunning - the ocean, mountains and a glacier (Snaefellsjokull) and in the winter we see the aurora borealis dancing around in the skies. We have a small veranda with a jacuzzi and a garden with swings, slide and a trampolin. The four bedrooms are good size and two very simple bathrooms, one with a shower and the other one with a bath tub. The living space is open plan (american), that is - dining, living room, tv area and kitchen.
