About our home

The house was built 1999 and is a 4 apartment house. We have owned one apartment in it from the start. It's 100m2 with 3 bedrooms one master bedroom and two smaller. The livingroom is not so big but cozy and kitchen is my favorit place in the house. We are located in Akureyri in the north part of Iceland and we live in quiet neighborhood. Just few steps from the house is a playground, basketball hoops, skatboard platform and small sokkerballfield all with in the view from the livingroom window.

Lake Mývatn is a beautiful area I recommend you look it up on the internet. May years back the astronauts who was sent to the moon had a practis in Lake Mývatn due to simularity. Part of Game of Thrones TV series was also shot here. In Eyjafjördur you can go for whale whatcing, there are many hiking paths and take a daytrip by plane to Grimsey to cross the artic cirkle.
