About our home

The house is situated in Njarðvík/Reykjanesbær, it takes only 7 min to drive from the airport to our home. The Blue Lagoon is 20 min drive away and Reykjavík only 35 min away.

Clean and comfortable single floor townhouse with four bedrooms (one double bed, adult size beds, kid size bed (70x160)), one bathrooms with shower, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room and laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Nice terrace and a big sunny garden witch is closed off with trees. In the garage you will find two bicycles for adults, one child bicycle for 4-7 years old and one for 9 – 12 years old. Also a child seat to put on one of the adult bicycles. In the garden we have a trampoline and sand area to play in. This is a non smoking house.

More about us

We are happily married with 2 children. Arnar is 47 years, Jenny 44 years, our children is Eyrún she is 9 years old and Saethor is 2 years. Arnar is working in a warehouse, and Jenný is a counceler in rehabilitation. We would like to go to Mallorca were we can enjoy beaches and nice holiday in the sun. We will treat your home with respect and care and promise that our home will be clean and cozy, ready for you to enjoy your stay here in Iceland.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Quiet and save family neighborhood where kids can play all around, the town has 15.000 inhabitants. You can walk to a good supermarket, takes 2 min. Very nice indoor and outdoor swimming pool in a 10 min walking distance. 5 min walk to a outside basketball court, little soccer field, and a playground. Beautiful walking path (in total 10 km) along the coastline that connects the three harbors in our town. All necessary services in walking distance.

Our town is on the Reykjanes peninsula and there are many great attractions in the area. All destinations on the peninsula are very nearby and you can visit for example the Blue Lagoon, two hot spring areas (http://www.islandihnotskurn.is and http://www.islandihnotskurn.is ) watch magnificent sunset at Garðskagi (only 10 min drive away) go for a hike and visit the small towns around the peninsula. Great 18 hole golf course 10 min drive away in a beautiful surroundings.

Reykjavík 35 min away and then of course all the amazing things Iceland has to offer.
