About our home

Our home is a good one, a great place to stay while in Iceland. It is built in the year 2000 by ourselves, custom-made for our needs. It is spacious and warm, with heating system in all floors. It is a good house for kids, has two children's-rooms with toys, and one teenager room. There are several computers available. We have a Toyota Previa car available to swap for the use of your car.

More about us

We are Trausti and Sigga, we are married with 4 children at the age of 3 to 14. I (Trausti) am working in construction and Sigga is a hairdresser. We love to travel, and are hoping to go to a sunny warm place with a beach and activities for the kids. We have not done this home-exchange before. We hope to get to know our fellow exchangers a bit before to see how best to make their stay the best possible in Iceland, as well to get to know the environment abroad.

Neighbourhood

This house is situated at the border of Reykjavik with nature all around, there is a view over the city on one side and the mountains on the other. The neighborhood is calm and quiet with a walking distance to a children's playground, swimming pool, gym and shops, and the nature is all around. There is a 12 min drive to central Reykjavik with all it has to offer.
