About our home

Our home is situated in the older and nicer part of Reykjavik. It is about 115 sq.m.
It has 3 big bedrooms and a living room. The apartment comfortably inhabits 4 people, a couple and two individuals or two couples and one individual.
A well equipt kitchen. One bathroom with a bath and shower. One 32 inch TV and two broadband computers. Small balcony but the garden is nice and big.
We have separete entrance from the rest of the house. The apartment is bright, cosy and comfortable.

More about us

We are family of four, Kristjan, Heba and two 11 and 17 year old boys. We love traveling with our boys to explore new cultures, art, food and enjoying outdoor activities. We like to be in a private home, we think it is much more personal and gives us an opportunity to experience the places and surrounding more intimately.
We are willing to do a non simultaneous swap if that is preferred.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We personally think our house is situated at the best part of Reykjavik. Behind the house is a big playing ground. No streets to cross. Secure area for kids.
Two minutes walk away ito unspoiled coastline great for waking and bike ride and renting a sailing boat futher down the coastline. In short walking distance is basicly everything you need. Close by is a swimming pool, gourmet grosserie store, bakery, cinema and a library. Only 10-15 min. walk to the city heart with it's nightlife, wonderful restaurants, and shopping. National museum is few minutes away it is newly renovated with great coffiee house and shop.
Within 30 min. driving is pretty much anything you can imagine a capital has to offer plus wild nature to. You can easily enjoy staying in our house without a car. But we recommend driving to enjoy the city and the environments possibilitys.
