Buzzy restaurants
For the new Nordic Cuisine go to Dill Restaurant at the Nordic House, designed by Arvo Alto.Fishmarket restaurant at Aðalstræti, Grillmarkaðurin restaurant at Lækjargata, The Grill at Hótel Saga, a Radison Blue Hotel.
Cool bars
For Happy hour and late drinks I recommend Boutique Hotel 101 which has a nice lounge located on the next corner. The new Marina Hotel at the harbor is also great for food and hangout. I also like Boston and Kex hostel at Skúlagata for drinks.
Cozy cafés
