About our home

We live in big house that we have been refurbishing and renovating the last few years. There are perhaps still a few things that still need a finishing touch but everything is in place. You will find everything a big family needs both inside and outside the house - including a little greenhouse filled with strawberries that are ripe at the end of june til beginning of august.

More about us

  1. We are a family of six, Raggi(46) is an mechanic and is an municipal employee in the district heating. Dagný(46) an occupational therapist but working in an pharmacy. We have four children, Smári(20), Lilja(18), Íris(16) and Pálmi(12). We have also one dog named Aska.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Selfoss, the town we live in is very friendly. It is 55 km from Reykjavík. We have two big grocery stores, a lot of smaller shops, coffee shops, bakeries, hardware stores and swimming pool. There are also quite a few restaurants and artist galleries in the vicinity. Everything within the town is a comfortable walk away or short ride on the bike. It is very easy to make short day trips an discover all the beauty and wonderfull nature of the country
We have very helpful neighbours and friends that are willing to assist if you have any questions.
