Our holiday home is located in the old fishing town Stykkisholmur on the Snaefellsnes peninsula which is a 2 hour drive from Reykjavik. It was built in 1904 and was completely renovated in 2008. The house is modernly equipped and comfortable. It is only a few minutes walk to services and a great swimming pool with hot tubs. A short drive away is Snaefellsjokull glacier, black beaches, whale watching and you can also visit some of the countless Breidafjordur Islands, e.g. Flatey accessible by local ferry.
The house can be swapped with or without our modern 300 square meter villa in Reykjavik. 3 floors, 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet. Nice garden with a wooden patio and garden furniture. Jeep can also be swapped.
