About our home

The original fisherman’s cottage has a unique seaside position- only 10 meters from the waters edge, and first row to the sea. Surrounded by pine trees and wild cactuses, it sits elevated with magnificent views out to sea.
The cottage, with its two bedrooms and Futon sofa bed in the living room, can comfortably accommodate up to 6 persons. The two bedrooms open directly onto the upper terrace. The kitchen and living room are located on the lower terrace, which also has a barbecue. The property, an entirely detached cottage, stands on a generous plot and offers living space (including 2 large terraces and garden) in the region of 175m2.

Where is it?

The beaches are magnificent rock beaches superb for snorkelling, windsurfing or simply sunbathing. But the Island also offers a number of sand beaches all within a few kilometres reach, if desired. The cottage, and its two large terraces, whilst offering complete privacy is also cosily nested within a small fishing community with all its amenities (a local Konoba restaurant, boats for rent and a small grocery with fresh bread and produce, fish, local made wine and olive oil to name but a few). While the Cottage is surrounded by peaceful nature and is off the tourist track, only a few kilometres away is the magnificent Medieval Port town of Hvar with its Gothic palaces and castle, white marble streets, 13th century city walls and fashionable restaurants and boutiques- the best of both worlds! The Island also offers a number of other historic towns and ports, including several Roman sites and Franciscan and Benedictine monasteries for great days of exploration. And one can always go on daily Island hopping trips and visit the many other islands on the southern Dalmatian coast (Brač, Korčula, Vis etc)..
