“Sue couldn’t have been more helpful with everything from recommending local restaurants, organising transport, etc. Sue and John generously vacated their amazing villa for the duration of our 10 night stay. Their villa is truly stunning, from the beautiful water lily ponds, the view to the volcano Mount Agung and a great pool for relaxing in with a cool beer. We felt spoilt with the daily maid and gardener/pool men and we really enjoyed the company of their affectionate cat Peppa. The villa is situated in a quiet rural area and we used a scooter to get into town, a short ride away. Sue organised truck pickups for us when needed too. The icing on the cake for us, as keen scuba divers, was that we were able to dive at Sue and John’s friendly and well organised dive school, World Diving. We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay, from the stunning open plan villa, friendly non pushy locals and beautiful wildlife both below and above the water. ”
“Together with my wife, I spent 3 exceptional weeks in Sue's House. It is very spacious and full of tasteful details and offers everything one could wish for. Sue was abroad while we were there, but she did everything she could to give us all the information we needed, and also people who assisted us while we during our stay. The garden was extraordinary. Two huge Frangipani-Trees were in full bloom and gave us a very pleasant and fragrant space to sit by the extensive swimming pool. But there were plenty of other trees and flowers in full bloom. There is a beautiful and uninterrupted view of the sea and the holy mountain 'Mount Agung'. I should mention that the island offers world-class full body massage which costs only about US$ 15 per hour. The only thing we regretted is that in the end, we had to leave...”
“Loved our stay in Sues place - ( sorry was sure we already had posted a review when departing) idealistic mornings and afternoons spend in house and around pool - wished we have had our family with us as the house was big and spacious and would have been perfect vacation spot for families to join up - the island it self was stunning and we loved all from start to end Decently recommended to stay with Sue Sue also was very easy to communicate with and her info where spot on Thank you again Lots of love Glen/ Pia ”
“Sue's house is stunning, with a spectacular views across the sea towards Gunung Agung, Bali's most sacred mountain. We adored our time there, relaxing by the pool and on the four-poster daybed in the mezzanine. The house is comfortable, well equipped and very private. We rented a motorbike intending to explore the island, but seldom ventured out choosing instead to soak up the stunning views...though we did book a fabulous morning of diving with the highly professional World Diving. Thank you Sue!”
“Wonderful guests. Great communication and left it spotless. Highly recommend”
