About our home

The best way to experience Bali! Why stay in a concrete box? Our home is made in the traditional bamboo style and surrounded by a tropical garden. Equally relaxing for your holiday, full-time, English-speaking Balinese staff will do all the housework, laundry, shopping, cooking, cleaning and answer all your questions. 24-hour wireless internet; ocean breezes; safe neighborhood; 20 min drive to shopping and nightlife; pleasant walk to beaches, resorts and restaurants. Close to legendary surfing and plenty of room for cricket in the garden.
The main house includes 1 Q-sized bed and 2 twins on the upper level. Additionally, there is a separate little house with another Q-sized ensuite bedroom and a separate office if needed. Great accommodation for family with kids, or others who really want to relax.

More about us

  1. I've been living in Bali for 10 years, originally from Texas, USA by way of 20 years in Australia. Interested in people and cultures from all over the world. I'm predominately interested in visiting my two sons in Sydney, now attending high school and university.

Where is it?

Canggu is far from the maddening crowd of tourists and a real taste of modern, suburban Balinese life. Plenty of little eateries near by - both local and European food. Equestrian center just around the corner, and a great deli, too. Canggu is always cooler than some places in Bali because of its position on the south side of the bay (Kuta's on the north side). If you're interested in contemporary Indonesian culture, my neighbors include Balinese, Timorese, Javanese and Flores. There's even one of the oldest Christian churches in Bali with Sunday services just up the road. Nearby is also the Canggu Club with a healthy gathering of ex-pats, if your feeling homesick.
We're about 30 minutes drive from the airport and 20 min to Kuta/Seminyak.
