About our home

Why We Love Our Home
- It's peaceful and safe - but still very central, just a two minutes from the action and from the beach
- We love to sleep in the bedroom upstairs with an amazing breeze (the room has windows on all 3 sides) and views to the lushness and trees around including a beautiful big mangotree
- We like to hop in the pool or hangout on the upstairs balcony, colours of the sunset

For us it's relatively easy to do swaps spontaneously, for next week or in a month time

Seminyak doesn’t really need anymore to be told as it has gained its reputation for the past three decades and is just an inescapable spot for as long as you want to be where all is happening. Surfing and yoga are happening and available all day whatever your level is. Massage and spa are countless. A long list of now famous restaurants like the Ginger Moon, Mamasan, Jackson Lily’s and many more. Remarkable fancy beach clubs like the Kudeta, Potato Head or W Hotel and many more. A few dozen of fashion shops owned by international designers. And finally for the youngest ones plenty of night clubs. And for kids things such 3D Trick Art Museum or Waterbom park. Also as Bali is so small, you can easily go from Seminyak on a day tour to other parts of Bali, to south, north, west or east - to Temples, on a bicycle ride through ricefields, river rafting or even see a local healer. We will be happy to give you our list of things to do if you come here for the first time. There is so much to do in Bali.

Our 2 bedroom, 2-storey Villa on a 400 m2 land is located in the heart of the 2km circumference hot spot. We looked for a peaceful, but central place for two years – and we feel so lucky to have found this. We took it three years ago and decided to renew everything. First ensuite bedroom is downstairs with merbau wooden flooring and honed marble bathroom, bathtub and outdoor shower. Second bedroom is upstairs and has a lovely balcony, with view of a full horizon of all kinds of trees. If you are lucky with the timing, there might be fresh mangoes from a huge mangotree or many beautifully fragrant frangipanis all year round. The 2 bathrooms are brand new, same with the equipped kitchen, double door fridge, 5 stoves oven, 16 bars coffee machine, and all other kitchen appliances. The flooring and stairs are made of sand stone.

There is 2 hours a day of cleaning service (Monday-Friday) by our friend Wayan, who is one of these amazing Balinese people full of kindness and honesty. All laundry can be picked up in the morning for the day after. We have also 2 scooters available, for rent, drive safe, wear a helmet. We can also connect you with a driver, who take you to all kind of places in Bali. Balinese people, truly are very special in their way of seeing life – so welcoming, graceful and spiritual. If you would like rent a car, we can also help arranging that. Or help you in any other thing too! Oh, and the the Balinese love children – so if parents would like to have a night out – Wayan is also a very good babysitter.

We will be happy to answer any questions you might have, :)

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We are located in Seminyak, few minute walking distance of a street named "Oberoi" (or some call it "Kayu Aya"), which has been called by the expat community the "Eat street", as there is so many amazing restaurants - and in the continuity of the street there are the most famous beach clubs and the main Temple of Petitenget. This area of Seminyak is known to be more mature and high end. The beach or the great Spas, even one with saunas and hot and cool pools, and massage places are a great place to relax. And there is plenty of many other things to do, from surf classes, yoga and dance to fashion designer shops and Balinese handicraft. It's 20-minutes from the airport and very practical location if you want to take day trips to other parts of Bali.
