Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Just 20 minutes NE of Ubud, the cultural and holistic health center of Bali, gaze at volcanic Mt. Agung, farming activities, and the ocean just 25 minutes away. Whether you're a writer, artist, culture or yoga enthusiast, wanting short or long term rental, come create and relax in the peace and quiet of the "REAL" Bali.

Buzzy restaurants
Feel passion while sampling healthy cooking and cultural tours. Travel local rice fields, bike to the nearby village temples, swim in the pool after shopping in Ubud’s center for culture and arts. Transportation available.
Bit of culture
Bali is an ancient and mystical place. It provides the visitor a chance to feel and experience the energetic powers of human communion with nature and spirit. The capital was located in Pejeng, where we are established. This area is also and rumored to have a very ancient migration of non-violent seekers from the Buddhist lands of Thailand. Records of this can be seen in the Museum of Archaeology.
Walks in the park
Numourous avenues link the rural villages. Rent a scooter or bicycle and explore. Our mascot Pankos can show you around the village and guide you to the nearby waterfall down the rice field paths. It's a very friendly village atmosphere, away from the bustling traffic congested streets. Enjoy the solitude, listen to crickets, frogs and any song birds. It's truly an unique paradise.
Day tripping
Visitors are most welcome to join family events such as weddings and funerals, and all village temple or community ceremonies. It is a pleasure to have you join the spirit. To show your respect and gratitude, it is very important to wear a sarong and waist scarf when entering the temples at all times and during street processions. Photography is acceptable but, don’t walk in front of the sitting people during prayer time…keep yourself lower than the priest. Please ask Wayan if you are unsure. He can arrange a temple visit in his village and you can accompany him. If you want to give a small donation to the temple or family, that is up to you.
