About our home

My Balinese-style villa is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the Ubud center. It sets on 800 sqm of land and is located in the middle of the rice fields. It is 180 m from the main road, but is accessible by car and has ample parking space.

The ground floor consists of an open-air living / dining / kitchen areas and a closed sitting room / office, with a ½ bath. The upper floor has one master bedroom, en-suite with bath & shower.

In addition, there is also a free-standing guest house directly adjacent to the main house, also with en-suite bath & shower.

A swimming pool is available at my business partner's home - 80 m away. My home has its own deep water well, telephone and an electrical supply of 5,000 watts.

A car and driver are also available for the Ubud area.

Where is it?

Because my home sits in the middle of the rice fields - it is unbelievably quiet here. I wake up in the mornings to the sound of birds chirping away in the trees that surround my home.

When the rice is being harvested - the sights and sounds are unique for visitors to Bali.

Ubud is 777 ft /236 m above sea level - making for a very pleasant place to live. During the day time, the temps range from 75 - 85, but at night they drop down to around 70. Because my house is in the open - I enjoy cool breezes nearly every day.

I only have two neighbors - a lovely Balinese family just to the east of me and my long-time Indonesian business partner 80 m to the west of me. On the north and south of my home - I enjoy wide open rice fields.
