About our home

This vacation home is a brand new family friendly Balinese French Colonial villa. We’re located in the suburb of Canggu in the quiet and secluded village of South Kayutulang surrounded by local farming communities - five minutes away by car to popular Echo beach, or 20 minutes to the famed Tanah Lot Temple in the sea.

The structure consists of two stories with three spacious well-appointed en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom with its smart TV and armchair ottoman has a large west facing open air terrace. The bathroom offers you seating, dual sinks, dual showers, a marble bathtub, a dresser, and a spacious walk in closet.

Calming marble floors in the dining and living areas combined with oversized sofas, and rattan furniture, make for a cool and quiet relaxing vibe while Tibetan Buddhist paintings, hand woven shawls and batiks, plus a mix of Balinese and Western print art adorn the walls. An oversized smart TV with surround sound hooks you up to over 100 cable channels, or your choice of the Internet. Reliable Wi-Fi is available thoughout the villa.

Well established tropical courtyard gardens with cobble stones add warmth and colour to the villa. A comfortable 7 x 4 mtr swimming pool is large enough to do laps in. A charming enclosure at the front of the house offers you a separate space away from the main house to relax in while surfing the internet. Both floors have sizable west facing open air terraces that run the length of the house. The well-planned western kitchen easily caters for family gatherings, and is aesthetically equipped with lots of space for easy movement. The appliances include a free standing four burner cooker oven, double door refrigerator, microwave, and water dispenser. An emergency light and fire extinguisher have been installed, plus a washing machine and dryer are available in the staff service area.  Storage space in the kitchen consists of wall cabinets and cupboards plus a separate pantry to keep everything neat.

Villa Sita is located in a peaceful, safe, and secure lane with no thru traffic.  Supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and shops for retail therapy are all within a 10 minute drive of the villa plus we're an easy telephone call away if you should need any assistance.

More about us

  1. We've lived and worked in Bali for the past 20 years, and have two sons. Our older son is currently away at university in Melbourne while our younger son is in the 10th standard in high school.

  2. Laila has worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, and I work with Religion Clothing, a high street fashion clothing label from England, but out of their offices in Bali.

  3. Now that our children are flying the coop, we'd love to spend some time travelling. We've enjoyed building our home from scratch and will certainly look after your home with the same love and respect we have for our's.
